My Event Planning Checklist

As an event planner I am always looking at my event planning checklist for the items that I still have to get and tasks that I need to complete. I organize events for businesses, small companies, and for social gatherings and general pleasure events. People use my services because I am so organized and because my event planning checklist is so thorough and because my reputation speaks for itself. Scheduling is key to all of this. I use a worksheet to assist with my event planning checklist and this way nothing is forgotton or left out.

As an event planner I have made a terrific name for myself over the years

I have made some wonderful business contacts as well. Sometimes I find that compiling my event planning checklist is sometimes the hardest part of my job. I usually have so many great ideas for my clients that it is hard for me to condense my event planning checklist to a manageable list. Depending on the event and the budget that the company or individual is working within, that event planning checklist can become quite long and involved. However, having all of the great resources that I have available to me makes my job much easier.

When I am working with a large fund-raising group my event planning checklist will be quite full. Organizations such as these plan large events on a grand scale in order to raise funds for their particular cause. I enjoy these the most out of all of my events because there is always such excitement when it is a fundraiser. Many times these can be themed events and that makes my event planning checklist really interesting. In that cases I will have a few extra meetings with the client to be absolutely sure that I am clear on exactly what they are looking for.

Keeping an accurate event planning checklist is key to planning any successful event for a client.

Knowing what the client is looking for and doing the best job possible to stay within their appointed event budget is also a huge priority. One of the biggest signs of a good event planner is someone who can get really creative with an event and someone who listens to their clients needs above all else. Whether it is a wedding, corporate event, or fundraiser I make sure that my event planning checklist is complete and accurate. That way I have this useful guide to follow from the beginning of the planning stages to the finished event. In most, if not all cases, that is a wonderful event that will be received positively by all, thanks to my event planning checklist!
